Field technician wanted to perform professional cleaning and maintenance of residential and commercial ventilation systems throughout Greater Montreal.
About the role
SaniClim+ is looking for an Air Duct Cleaning Technician to join our field operations team.
You will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting and maintaining ventilation systems for residential and commercial customers throughout Greater Montreal.
The work primarily includes air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, air exchanger cleaning and HVAC system maintenance, with additional air conditioning and heat pump services depending on your training and experience.
We are looking for someone reliable, punctual, professional and comfortable performing hands-on technical work. Previous industry experience is a strong asset, although training may be provided to candidates with strong technical abilities and the right attitude.
Responsibilities
• Perform residential and commercial air duct cleaning.
• Clean dryer vents, air exchangers and ventilation components.
• Operate professional cleaning equipment including vacuums, compressors, rotary brushes and specialized tools.
• Perform visual inspections and use inspection cameras when required.
• Take before-and-after photos of completed work.
• Complete service reports using the SaniClim+ mobile application.
• Identify visible issues or additional maintenance needs and communicate them to customers.
• Protect customer property and leave the work area clean after every service.
• Properly operate and maintain company equipment.
• Safely operate company service vehicles.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow SaniClim+ safety procedures and quality standards.
What we are looking for
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required.
• Experience in air duct cleaning, HVAC, ventilation, maintenance or hands-on technical work is a strong asset.
• Good physical condition and ability to handle professional equipment.
• Comfortable working with ladders and in certain confined spaces.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications.
• Functional French required. Functional English is considered an asset.
• Ability to quickly learn SaniClim+ procedures and cleaning methods.
